The Vectre Corporation Has Gained the Respect of Both Elected Officials and Key Decision Makers
The Vectre Corporation was established as a subsidiary of the Richmond, Virginia law firm of Hazel & Thomas, P.C., to provide necessary and highly specialized services in the area of government relations. Guided by former senior legislative liaison for two Virginia Governors, H. Benson Dendy III, who joined the firm in 1989, and former gubernatorial advisor and attorney, Philip F. Abraham, the firm has gained the respect of both elected officials and key decision makers for its expertise and communication abilities.
In 1992, The Vectre Corporation expanded its range of services when it became the Virginia member of The Advocacy Group (TAG), an international network of law and government relations providing advocacy services at State Capitols throughout the United States, Latin America and Europe.
In 1995, The Vectre Corporation became an independent firm owned by members of its Board of Directors. Members of the Board of Directors H. Benson Dendy III, Philip F. Abraham, and William G. Thomas are all available to provide client counsel.
Today, The Vectre Corporation is headquartered at 411 East Franklin Street, just blocks from the Virginia Statehouse. The firm includes six full-time government affairs professionals, with more than seven decades of collective experience in government affairs. In 2004, Vectre opened a Hampton Roads office in Virginia Beach. Vectre is not a law firm and does not provide legal services.
