Petrina L. Jones
Petrina Jones joined the Vectre Corporation in 1996. Jones served as an associate to the firm for over a decade. Currently, Jones lobbies members of the Virginia General Assembly and the Executive Branch on behalf of The Vectre Corporation’s clients. Jones is a state director for a federal grassroots project. She has been active in grassroots projects on federal, state and local levels. Jones actively monitors pending legislative and regulatory issues before the Virginia General Assembly, Commonwealth Transportation Board and the Board of Education.
Jones earned a BFA in Music Theatre at the Shenandoah Conservatory of Music in 1993. She toured the United States as a member of a nationally acclaimed theatre company. Jones also worked on a community outreach show co-produced by Prevent Child Abuse Virginia, the Virginia Department of Social Services and Theatre IV America. Jones was the recipient of the 1997 Shenandoah Conservatory of Music Outstanding Young Alumni Achievement Award. She has participated in Governor Warner’s Partnership for Achieving Successful Schools by mentoring at Clark Springs Elementary in Richmond, Virginia. She currently works with the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice as a forensic actress on an instructional conference called Child First Virginia, a program for law enforcement officers, attorneys and social workers. Jones currently serves on the Board of Directors of Cultureworks (formerly the Arts Council of Richmond).
