The Advocacy Group (TAG) elected H. Benson Dendy III to its Board of Directors at the organization’s recent annual meeting in Austin, Texas. TAG is an international network, consisting of some of the most respected governmental affairs firms in the world. This global interfirm lobbying organization represents business interests worldwide. TAG includes governmental affairs professionals in 50 states and in 7 countries. It was established in 1992 and was the first international organization of government relation specialists to provide a diverse array of professional advocacy services throughout the world. Dendy serves as President of The Vectre Corporation, a full service government relations firm doing work at the state, local and federal levels of government. Dendy has headed The Vectre Corporation since 1989. Prior to joining The Vectre Corporation, Dendy worked in Virginia State Government for eleven years, serving as Secretary of the Commonwealth, Secretary to the Governor’s Cabinet and Special Assistant to the Governor.
